Statement of beliefs
As a Christ-centered organization, we believe the ultimate example of fatherhood is best illustrated in two scriptures in John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And in Matthew 3:17, a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son whom I dearly love; I find happiness in him."

We believe the death of Jesus Christ on the cross made atonement for the sins of the world, and a relationship is available with him for all who repent and believe in him.

Jesus' obedience to death not only brought God much pleasure but also served as a means to fill humanity's father void, demonstrating the ultimate eradication of fatherlessness via the restoration of our relationship with God the Father.
Therefore, having a personal relationship with God (the Father) through Jesus Christ is the heart of Our Fatherless. We encourage and equip fathers and father figures to pursue or deepen a relationship with Jesus through prayer, bible study, and fellowship with other believers. Staff, volunteers, board members, and MENtors are encouraged to serve our organization with integrity and accountability to Christ and according to the statement of faith.

CHARACTER & INTEGRITY
"You can easily judge a man's character by how he treats those who can do nothing for him." We believe great character and integrity measure the heart of a man. We support, encourage, and provide tools for developing and demonstrating excellent character for our youth, fathers, and father figures. Moral character and integrity are the essence of a successful father and how we teach and serve.

COMPASSION
Finally, all of you, be like-minded, sympathetic, love one another, and compassionate and humble. 1 Peter 3:8
Demonstrating compassion is an attribute of Jesus Christ. We are committed to respecting, teaching respect, and extending grace to all individuals. We believe in honoring humanity no matter your title, social-economic status, education, race, or physical ability. Our Fatherless teaches compassion to youth, staff, volunteers, fathers, and father figures while operating and serving others with love and grace.
